Trustee Leadership in Arts Fundraising and Philanthropy – Successful sessions in December
Our recent training sessions at the New Art Exchange, Nottingham and the Free Word Centre, London provoked lively, informed and timely discussions across participants from a wide range of organisations. Nicole Newman discussed how English National Opera has developed their board to lead sub-committees in different areas of Development such as Corporate Sponsorship and Development Events, and we heard from Rose Fenton and Prue Skene from the Free Word Centre about their new friends scheme which they have just launched. Matthew Bowcock also provided an insightful perspective from someone who has been both a major donor and on the board of a charity.
Trustee Leadership in Arts Fundraising and Philanthropy - Further sessions in the New Year
We are looking forward to our next sessions Trustee Leadership in Arts Fundraising and Philanthropy taking place at:
Monday 10th February, Manchester – led by Sir Vernon Ellis
Thursday 20th February, London – led by Sir Thomas Hughes-Hallett

Recruitment for a Marketing Manager

We want to hear from you
We've heard some great stories from our Trustee Leadership in Arts Fundraising and Philanthropy Training Seminars of Boards developing fundraising ideas. For example, the London Sinfonietta has moved fundraising to third on its meeting agendas and already has plans to launch a board-supported new major giving programme in January 2014 and is planning further Trustees supported fundraising events throughout 2014. Great news!
Please let us know your stories here.
Wishing you all a joyful Christmas and prosperous New Year.
