UPDATED CASTING CALL for COMMUNITY ACTORS

If you are interested,  but  have problems with  rehearsal dates  - we can be flexible. Please apply with your availability ( including,  if you can’t do both 5th & 6th ,  any evening dates   7th – 11th April) . Also this is only planned to be a 30 -45 minute performance and so there will not be many lines to learn .

No experience necessary but if you have some please let us know .

Jestaminute Community Theatre  cic  are looking for community actors to take part in their new play ‘One back of Nineteen’  at Forge Mill on  12th and 13th April .  The play shares the findings of their current Heritage Lottery funded project ‘Engineering the Past’ .

The company have been capturing the working memories of Redditch people before the town was designated as a new town and the play will share  some of those stories through fictionalised characters  .

The commitment :

Audition               26th March  - evening 6 pm – 10 pm  - venue in Redditch TBC

Rehearsals:         5th & 6th April  10 am-4 pm each day  - venue in Redditch TBC

10th  April  evening  6 pm -9 pm at Forge Mill  Redditch

Performances :  *10th April - school performance  at Palace Theatre Redditch  exact time TBC  but actors called  for

10 am -2.30 pm  (* Your availability on the 10th is extremely desirable but not an absolute requirement as the play will be written in a modular fashion and this piece  to an invited school audience will be shortened .)

12th & 13th April   public performances at Forge Mill, 3 performances each day 11.30 am, 1.30 pm and 3 pm.

As this is a community project there will be no fee but expenses will be covered and we will provide drinks throughout day plus lunch.
