Clod Ensemble return to Malvern Theatres on Saturday 19th July with Red Ladies.

Red Ladies are on their way. Who are they and what do they want?

An undisclosed number of identically dressed women infiltrate the city with a series of mysterious, visually arresting interventions before rendezvousing in the Forum Theatre to perform their ‘theatrical demonstration’ in five movements performed to an original score, featuring live drums and violin. Red Ladies is about connectivity, identity, community, complexity, transformation and love. A poetic investigation into the ways human beings and other animals behave when in groups.

Led by choreographer/director Suzy Willson and composer Paul Clark, Clod Ensemble ‘are a shape-shifting, genre-straddling, media-mixing, experimental, experiential project-based performance group.’ (The Guardian)
