: Cultural Commissioning Programme - Book a place on our bespoke training events

The Cultural Commissioning Programme is working hard to strengthen the environment for cultural commissioning! Our programme of support is now being launched to help arts and cultural organisations engage with public service commissioning and diversify their income.

Two national seminars

In June we hosted Public Services: The value of cultural commissioning, a series of two seminars bringing together 260 people to explore ways in which arts and culture can deliver effective public service outcomes. Both events in London and Doncaster produced valuable presentations.

Bespoke training programme

Our Learning Programme delivers high quality training to middle and senior managers in arts organisations, museums and library services, including those responsible for developing new funding streams and winning contracts. Through intensive learning, with input from commissioners, it will strengthen your ability to engage with commissioning and generate new income.

Our sold out Learning Programme dates in Newcastle are already underway and bookings for our Plymouth and Leicester dates are now open. If we haven’t already announced a date in your locality, we will be doing so soon!

The Cultural Commissioning Programme is a three-year programme from July 2013 to June 2016, funded by Arts Council England, and is delivered by NCVO, nef and NPC. Sign up for our e-bulletin and follow us on Twitter.

Best Wishes,
