Worcestershire Arts Partnership: Autin Dance Theatre

Dear Colleague,

We wanted to get in touch with you regarding an exciting opportunity for you and your students to take part in our Dance and Physical Theatre Workshops.

Autin Dance Theatre is an established Contemporary Dance and Physical Theatre Company set up by critically-acclaimed international dance artist and choreographer Johnny Autin.

As part of our current project ‘Pathos’, Autin Dance Theatre is delivering an extensive outreach and education programme offering dance and physical theatre workshops in local schools, colleges, community settings and venues across the Midlands. If you want to get involved with these or want Autin Dance Theatre to deliver a workshop with you please e-mail us at education@autindancetheatre.com

The workshops will be led by a dance artist from Autin Dance Theatre. This will either be Johnny himself or one of his dancers. They will explore some of the themes in the company's recent work and will be exciting, creative and very fun. One of the key drivers of the company is to work regionally with young people and educational institutions to inspire passion and enthusiasm for dance and to support the development of local talent.

As part of our current project 'Pathos' we are also hosting a spectacular evening of dance on 11th September 2015 at mac birmingham as part of our forthcoming tour.

Workshops can be booked for the summer and autumn term 2015 and spaces are limited so please contact us soon to get involved at education@autindancetheatre.com. We will work closely with you to answer your questions and ensure suitable timetabling.
