Deadline approaching - Calling Visual Artists and Designers

Thames Festival Trust are looking for a Worcestershire based artist/designer to deliver visual art based workshops in secondary schools across Worcestershire between March - June 2018 as part of Rivers of the Worldour international arts and education project.

The programme involves the pupils working with an artist or designer on their local river through environmental, economic and cultural learning and themes to learn and gather ideas that are channeled creatively into drawings, paintings, photographs and other visual media which result in the creation of large-scale work of art. The artwork is then curated and exhibited in partner schools outside the UK and along the River Thames walkway in September as part of Totally Thames. Since its creation in 2005, Rivers of the World has been delivered in over twenty countries around the world.
